On the 19th of December 2015, a delegation from Universitas Mahasaraswati, Bali, Indonesia led by President of the University (Rector) Dr. Drs. I Made Sukamerta, M.Pd visited the Center for Innovative Planning and Development (CiPD), and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP), Faculty of Built Environment (FAB), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru. The delegation also included Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Alit Wiswasta, MP (Vice President for Academic Affairs and Three Devotional Services of Higher Education), Dr. Ir. Ketut Sumantra, MP (Head of the Department of Regional Planning and Environmental Management), Dr. Anik Yuesti, SE, MM (Head of the Center of Study on Women, Regional Planning and Environmental Management), and 40 post-graduate students from the Department of Regional Planning and Environmental Management, Universitas Mahasaraswati. Delegates were received by Prof. Dr. Amran Hamzah (Director, CiPD), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Nazri Muhamad Ludin, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ngah, Prof. Dr. Kwang Sik Kim, Associate Professor Dr. Hamid Saad, Dr. Ariva Sugandi Permana and Mr. Abdul Rahim Ramli. Professor Dr. Ibrahim Ngah delivered a lecture on The Planning System in Malaysia to the delegates. Various aspects of a possible collaboration between Universitas Mahasaraswati and CiPD, DURP and FAB, UTM were also discussed during the visit.
