Dr. Zuhra Junaida Husny, the Deputy Director of Centre for Innovation Planning and Development (CIPD) and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FBES), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) was invited as a visiting research scholar for the program entitled ‘Academic Melting Pot’ offered by the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand. The fellowship duration was for 30 days (27 May 2019 to 25 June 2019).

During the program, she participated as the Invited Speaker at the Industrial Education Seminar on 28th May 2019 in which she delivered a talk entitled ‘The Need of Data Sensing and Signal Processing on Haulage Vehicles’.

She also contributed as a Session Chair during the 17th International Conference on Developing Real-Life Learning Experience (DRLE2019) from 30th  to 31st May 2019. Apart from that, she has also been given the privilege to work with the research team from Department of Engineering Education led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunti Tuntrakool on potential research collaboration and publications.

 

Previously, Dr. Zuhra Junaida Husny was the recipient of the Leaders in Innovation Fellowship (LIF) program from 14 January 2019 to 25 January 2019 in London worth RM 85,000.00 for each participant. She received the fellowship based on her proposal on a program called HACADEMY©, a one-stop centre for halal training programs, halal professional talent matching and organisational learning platform that is cost-effective and sustainable.
