The First International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC), organized by fourth-year Urban and Regional Planning students, was held in a hybrid format to showcase their final year projects. This conference marks the continuation of the 26th National Urban Planning Conference 2023 (NUPC) at an international level.
The conferenceโs main theme, โAdvancing Inclusion and Innovation for Sustainable Development Planning,โ aims to create new opportunities for students, researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals in urban and regional planning, focusing on urban sustainability within the Malaysia MADANI framework.

The 1st International Urban Planning Conference (iNUPC2024) was successfully held yesterday at Dewan Senat, Bangunan Canseleri Sultan Ibrahim, UTM. Organized by final-year students from the Bachelor’s Degree program in Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU), UTM. The event theme focused on “Advancing Inclusion and Innovation for Sustainable Development Planning.” It brought together participants, including the delegation of PLANMalaysia, Malaysian Institute Planners, sponsors, agencies, principals of planning firms, professors, lecturers, and students from 6 different countries to discuss key urban planning challenges and opportunities.

Program Harta Tanah, Fakulti Alam Bina dan Ukur (FABU), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) telah menganjurkan Program Lawatan dan Syarahan Umum oleh Profesor Adjung Tn. Jaiya Abu, Pengarah Bahagian Pengurusan dan Perundangan Tanah, Jabatan Ketua Pengarah Tanah dan Galian (JKPTG) Persekutuan selama satu (1) hari di FABU dan Blok N24, UTM. Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya pengetahuan semasa dan pengalaman akademik para pelajar dan staf akademik serta memperkukuhkan jaringan kolaborasi antara FABU UTM dengan JKPTG dalam bidang Pentadbiran dan Pembangunan tanah di Malaysia.
Program Geoinformasi, Fakulti Alam Bina dan Ukur (FABU), UTM telah menganjurkan satu program Bicara Kerjaya bagi Graduan Kejuruteraan Geomatik yang telah disampaikan oleh pihak Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia (JUPEM) dengan kerjasama Persatuan Mahasiswa Ukur Tanah (PEMETA). Sesi bicara kerjaya ini adalah bertujuan untuk memberi persediaan kepada pelajar-pelajar Geoinformasi untuk menghadapi sesi temuduga terutamanya apabila ingin memohon sebagai juruukur di bidang kerajaan kelak.
