Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) sekali lagi mencatat sejarah apabila Fakulti Alam Bina dan Ukur (FABU) berjaya mengekalkan kedudukan 100 terbaik dalam QS World University Ranking by Subject 2024. Bidang Architecture/Built Environment di fakulti ini diiktiraf sebagai antara 51-100 terbaik dunia dan dinobatkan sebagai program nombor satu di Malaysia. Kejayaan ini bukan sahaja membanggakan warga UTM, tetapi juga memperkukuhkan status Malaysia sebagai pusat kecemerlangan pendidikan tinggi di peringkat antarabangsa.
The Department of Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU), successfully hosted the Academic Industry Engagement Session 2024, an event aimed at fostering collaboration, enhancing research, and promoting innovation within the faculty and industry. The agenda highlighted the potential of industry experts sharing their knowledge to explore contemporary issues within the construction industry.
15 July 2024 | A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony Between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) Indonesia was held at Bilik Jamuan, Dewan Sultan Iskandar today.
The signing ceremony was represented by the Vice Chancellor of UTM, Prof. Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail and the Rector of UIB, Dr. Iskandar Itan.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Prof. Ts. Dr. Ali Selamat, Dean of Faculty of Built Environment & Surveying (FABU), Prof. Sr. Dr. Kherun Nita Ali, and Director of UTM International, Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan.
The URBANViz Analytics Challenge 2024, led by Ts. Gs. Dr. Noradila Rusli, is a pioneering initiative to promote urban data visualization technology among students of the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU).
This innovative competition has garnered considerable attention for its emphasis on developing interactive dashboards to tackle urban issues and improve monitoring activities within the built environment and surveying disciplines.
One of our students, Siti Farah Farhana Ahmad, Master of Philosophy (Remote Sensing), is attending the summer school in conjunction with IEEE IGARSS in Athens, Greece, as part of our commitment to fostering global learning experiences.
