Geomatics Innovation (GnG)

Geomatics Innovation Research Group (GnG) is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the frontiers of Geomatics through innovative research and technological development. GnG was established in 2008 and our research members  specialized in various areas of research such as:

Geodesy, Satellite Precise Positioning and Navigation (GPS/GNSS), Modern Cadastre, Marine Cadastre, Astronomy, Islamic Astronomy, Underground Survey & Mapping, Spatial & Survey Adjustment, Hydrography, Aerial Photogrammetry, Land Information Science, Land Administration, GNSS-Meteorology, GNSS-Seismology, Crustal Deformation, and GPS-Space Weather.  

Emphasizing collaboration across academia, industry, and government, we are now actively engaged in talent development of postgraduate students (PhD and MPhil), consultancy, professional training, and community engagement. GnG strives to deliver sustainable innovative solutions for real-world problems, an exemplary realization of the UTM tagline:”Innovating Solutions”.
