The building industry has seen significant changes in the previous two decades, laying the stage for a future in which classic spatial notions are no longer viable. Compost is already being utilised as a construction material, crowdfunding and collaborative design are becoming increasingly popular approaches to architectural projects, green infrastructure and energy efficiency are becoming increasingly important, and the distinction between private and public space is blurring. The adjustments were truly fairly astounding to us. It is no secret that technology has advanced at a breakneck speed. The field of architecture is no exception.
Architecture as we know it is likely to disappear, and the role of architects in the future may be very different from what we understand now. Environmental scientists and social anthropologists, for example, will become active team members in design studios, working on complicated projects that require expertise from several disciplines.
Many of the present job profiles in the construction sector are likely to be eliminated as a result of the emergence of professionals from diverse disciplines. Collaboration with system leaders, according to experts, is no longer a luxury, but a must for satisfying complicated structural demands.
