A site visit in Kluang opens my eye to lots of shophouses that exist near the railway as the KTM railway became the prominent transportation that connects Kluang to other places. The growth of Kluang expands between Sungai Mengkibol and KTM railway up to the North where more shophouses were built. There are a few significant changes in Kluang pattern where the town keeps on developing and scattered around the heritage zone. Besides, due to more residential area around shows the increasing number in a population of Kluang town. During this era, new buildings with modern architecture style (commercial building mainly) are being located mostly up to the north of Kluang.
