Utopia or Dystopia (part 2)

Utopia means: “an imaginary place in which the government, laws, and social conditions are perfect” or “a place of ideal perfection especially in laws, government, and social conditions” or “an impractical scheme for social improvement” or “an imaginary and indefinitely remote place”. All of these definition are different to each individual in this world, our preferable or imaginary utopia are base on our desire of perfect world. The same goes for dystopia, the dystopia that we imagine will be different form another person. It’s usually base on what we fear or what we hate the most or on what that brings us discomfort in our life. The word “dystopia” means “an imaginary place where people are unhappy and usually afraid because they are not treated fairly” or “an imagined world or society in which people lead wretched, dehumanized, fearful lives”.

POSSIBLE FUTURE ON FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON KLUANG

If we go to the future, let’s say 1000 years ahead of time, if human still exist the way we live might not be the same as today. We might not need car or transportation, if we can instantly teleport to our desire location. We might not need to have a home or a room of our own, we just need a sleeping pod or sleeping station for us to rest. But food or nutrition is the thing that human constantly need in order to survive. The food might seems difference but the function is still the same. This show how important food and nutrition is to human.

What I’m imagine for Kluang food and beverage in the near and far future are not as futuristic as the way human live in the movie. It’s is much more simpler and closer to today food that we have. Most of the improvement will be on the services, the improvement on the health and the implement of “Ai” in the food industries. For example, there will be a food hub or center that provide healthy food and all the work such as cooking and serving will be done by Ai robots. The people there will only enjoy the food and possibly pay less for better food. The hub will be a community center for them to have their daily coffee, but not only Kluang’s signature coffee but they will be able to have the taste of other places or other country coffee and food.
