Kluang, in addition to its well-known railway station and excellent coffee from Kluang Rail Coffee, provides a welcome respite from the city’s bustle. Many of the historic buildings in town are nearly a century old and still have their original facades. The spectacular row of buildings in Bandar Kluang with various architectural styles and completion years faithfully preserved on the eaves impressed me, particularly the shop lot on Jalan Lambak with an appealing lion mask head on the rooftop of each shop lot symbolizing the owners’ individual beliefs.
