Site visit to Mersing is my first ever physical site visit since entering UTM. The journey there was very challenging as the road to go there is like a roller coaster but it is worth it, as Mersing is very nice and calm town. My first thought about Mersing is about seafood and jetty. As I arrived there, I went to the Mersing river where there are a lot of timber jetty for fisherman. The jetty was build by timber and it looks very old and unstable, but somehow it looks very aesthetic and portray the hard work and passion of the fisherman as they are always using the jetty to go to the sea until it looks like that: old but gold.
