Mersing is a coastal town that gives the vibes of calmness and relaxation with a friendly neighbourhood, culture, historical buildings, architectural identity, foods and drinks, recreational park, beach, and island.
Unfortunately, most visitors to Mersing came solely for the beach and the island; clearly, there is no attraction activity in town for both tourists and locals. The locals also said that Mersing is beautiful and wonderful but also lacking in building development because of the government and chief minister’s always changing ideas, which could be the reason because of their different ideas making the development more difficult.
In Mersing, there are a lot of versions of history that make Mersing more interesting to study and learn new things in Mersing. Have a great conversation with the locals, fishermen, or shophouse people. They are so friendly and it is very enjoyable to talk about Mersing.
In conclusion, Mersing is a very peaceful place and enjoyable to stay because of the vibes, the beach, the environment, the community, street art, and history. It is needless to say that Mersing town in Johor is well-known as the gateway to some of the state’s best islands for a vacation because of their natural beauty above and below the water surface. The development that needs to be done in Mersing is the activity in town to make the place more interesting to visit. People do not just come to Mersing for the beach and island.
