Bandar Sri Permaisuri is a township located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was named after the country’s queen, Tunku Hajah Bahiyah binti Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, who was also known as Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen Consort) when her husband was the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia. Bandar Sri Permaisuri is a mixed-development area that consists of residential and commercial properties.
And for me, the real “queens” in this city is their neighbourhood itself. The town’s communities are an integral part of its character and culture. Each neighborhood has its own unique charm and offers residents and visitors a diverse range of experiences.
From the bustling streets filled with hawker stalls and shops to the serene parks and recreational areas, Bandar Sri Permaisuri’s neighborhoods have something to offer everyone.
It’s important to recognize and appreciate the communities that make up this town, as they are the backbone of its vibrancy and culture.
