I personally think that Mersing, as a coastal town, does not need a lot of shopping malls or too many entertainment facilities. Sometimes simplicity and nature, without the slightest hint of pomposity, are the charming features of a small town.
Although the streets of Mersing are very clean, there is a lot of rubbish on the beach and along the river. It is assumed that the source of this rubbish is human coastal activities and recreational activities, shipping, fishing and other sea activities. This litter affects the view and the desire to play on Mersing’s beaches, as well as the economy of Mersing. Therefore, to improve the economy of mersing, it is important to start by cleaning up the litter.
