Mersing’s point of view before the site visit

My impression towards the Mersing district is majority about fisherman who migrated from Kelantan and Terengganu as well as develop Mersing into fisherman community. We can see that they survived as a fisherman from the islands and sell the catches at the land of Mersing. Throughout the research about Mersing’s characteristics, i found that the fisherman is one the main career for the local people and one of their skills. The sketch above shows that the street view capture the scenery and environment of the boat deck and Mersing river. It is also to reimagine the story behind the sketch where the history and culture of the fisherman in Mersing.
