Alhamdulillah, design 5 came to a close with a project called ‘D’ SQUARE. Throughout the semester, I have been overjoyed and grateful to be a part of this work-based. All through the semester, we thought about a lot of things, especially when it came to creating the brief, where we had to collaborate in groups and suggest a building typology. Then we develop our concept through manifesting, which really helps us communicate our thoughts, and last, we foresee the probable future.
To summarise, I would say that this semester has felt like an infinite trip, despite the fact that my progress has been subtle. I’ve been spending so much time on form-making and planning that I haven’t had time to spend on applying and exploring agricultural technology and to be honest, I haven’t done many studies on it. Nonetheless, a lesson was learned. I definitely need to manage my time better and get outside of my comfort zone to attempt new things, especially construction-wise.
