The 3rd International Workshop on Innovation in Construction Management and Economics (IWICME) was held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2019. The workshop aimed to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and opportunities for non-academic individuals to contribute and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals. The workshop covered a range of topics related to construction management and economics, including the role of government, manufacturers, and individuals in recycling and overall solid waste management.

One of the key themes of the workshop was Industry 4.0 and its impact on the construction industry. The workshop also highlighted the need for continued innovation and collaboration in the construction industry to address these challenges and take advantage of new opportunities presented by Industry 4.0.
