Where have it gone- the presence of a child inside of our mind who loves showing their freedom- who loves their adventuring time with all the crayons on the floor, trying their best luck on everything they did, not scares of anything except maybe… losing mama’s Tupperware at school. We grew up and lost the touch of good expression of freedom, despite the word of “freedom of speech” we still scares to express our feeling, we bottled it up till we sick, all the argument are keep inside, scared of saying out loud, scared of losing our loves one, scares of being rejected. Do we still have a space where we can be free? no side eyes given? no argument for anything we did? do we still? i do miss a child who smile happily after he vandalized his mama’s wall with his so called ‘art’ and proudly called his parents to show the artwork. I miss the sense of a person who have imagination of space plane against monster in city with just helps from a piece of lego and ultraman figura – simple mind of a kid.

Now, we are living in an age where millions of colours become 256 as said by Neville Brondi in his anti design manifesto. What make it more saddening, art that long time ago was well appreciated in our daily life now becomes more simple. We trying to paint our future as simple as a single stroke on a white canvas – live, work, die. We moves fast, time moves faster, so why not instead, we just pull a break to look around, slow down our steps to appreciate the feeling. Every existence in the world is an artist. As human, we are the designer of how we paint our life would be. there always be a moment we scared to fail but we forgot that failing is also a process in making our art. The fails make the art more appreciated, raw and original. be happy, escape into new things, express our soul to the world. Do this and hope for the world to become more colorful.

As we further grew up, we almost lost in touch with what makes us happy.
