{"id":19397,"date":"2017-05-11T09:49:15","date_gmt":"2017-05-11T01:49:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/facelift\/?p=19397"},"modified":"2017-06-01T13:00:39","modified_gmt":"2017-06-01T05:00:39","slug":"utm-fab-architecture-wins-2nd-3rd-in-autodesk-malaysia-design-competition-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/facelift\/2017\/05\/11\/utm-fab-architecture-wins-2nd-3rd-in-autodesk-malaysia-design-competition-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"UTM FAB Architecture wins 2nd &#038; 3rd in Autodesk Malaysia Design Competition 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">UTM Architecture lecturers and students won 2nd and 3rd places for Autodesk Malaysia Design Competition (AMDC) 2016.\u00a0The prize-giving ceremony, which took\u00a0place on 8th May 2017, was officiated by YB Datuk\u00a0Dr Mary Yap Kain Ching at Dewan Za\u2019ba, Ministry of Higher Education, Putrajaya.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Overall over 500 entries from all IPTA and IPTS all over the country were received by the organiser, Prestariang Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education.\u00a0There were three main\u00a0categories that were contested, which were\u00a0Architecture, Industrial Design and Creative Media Design under the theme of 3<i>D for Society \u2013 DREAM, DESIGN &amp; DELIVER<\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0Under the Architecture category, five UTM entries were shortlisted and two went through to the final, the 2nd and 3rd places. The 2nd place with RM 2000.00 winning cash was awarded to Phuah Lin, who is in her 3rd year Bachelor programme, under the supervision of AP Ar Ramli Jamaluddin, who also received RM 750.00 for his winning. The 3rd place with RM 1000.00 cash prize, was won by Mohd Izzuddin Awang Junit, who is now in his final year of Master of Architecture.
