The multidisciplinary research team which was spearheaded by Assoc. Prof Dr. Hasanuddin Lamit; consists of Dr. Arezou Shafaghat, Dr. Ali Keyvanfar, <a style=\"color: #000000\" name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>Dr. Kherun Nita Ali, Prof. Dr. Mohd Zaimi Abd. Majid, and Prof. Dr. Mohd Hamdan Ahmad. The research project was also supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysian Highway Authority (Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia-LLM), Qatar Road Safety Studies Centre (RSSC), and the Institute of Sultan Iskandar (ISI). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;text-align: justify;background: white\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000;font-size: 10pt\">The team has won the judges attention to their Urban Walkability Decision Support tool which was developed to be used by local government agencies to enhance low-energy and low-emission urban development policies. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;text-align: justify;background: white\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">SIIF 2015 was hosted by Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and organized by Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) at Hall E, COEX complex building. SIIF 2015 jury was validated and verified by <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ifia.com\/en\/index.php\">International Federation of Inventors&#8217; Associations\u00a0(IFIA<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">). This year\u2019s event witnessed 525 inventions from 33 nations showcasing their inventions. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;text-align: justify;background: white\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000;font-size: 10pt\">The objective of the SIIF 2015 was to invite inventors and innovators from all over the world to promote their inventions and learn about the importance of intellectual property.
