Dr. Norsiah Abd Aziz, for being the best students of the Department in the first semester of the academic year 2016\/2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19312\" style=\"width: 457px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2017\/05\/MeetingPA-JPBW-16172-01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19312\" class=\"wp-image-19312 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2017\/05\/MeetingPA-JPBW-16172-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"447\" height=\"374\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/fabu2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2017\/05\/MeetingPA-JPBW-16172-01.jpg 447w, https:\/\/builtsurvey.utm.my\/fabu2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/248\/2017\/05\/MeetingPA-JPBW-16172-01-300x251.jpg 300w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 447px) 100vw, 447px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 447px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 447\/374;\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-19312\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Best student Diong Jia Qi 1SBEP receiving her award from the Head of Department<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The academic prizes were presented to these students at the Academic Advisors Meeting which took place at the Convention Hall, B12, FAB.\u00a0 In her address, the HoD welcomed all students back to the Department for the second semester and hoped that all students continue to work hard and strive for academic excellence, and to always do their best in all their undertakings in the second semester of academic year 2016\/2017. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Amongst the important items that were highlighted to the students are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All graduating students are to pass all courses in the Professional Skills Certificate (PSC) programme in order to graduate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All graduating students are to regularly check and ensure that they have accumulated a total of 133 credits upon application to graduate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Students are reminded that higher marks are given to participation and awards won at the International level for all student awards by UTM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Students are invited to participate in the APSA 2017 as paper and or poster presenters by visiting the APSA 2017 website at <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apsa2017.org\/greetings\/\">https:\/\/www.apsa2017.org\/greetings\/<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Board of Town Planners Malaysia will visit the Department on the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup> May 2017 for the accreditation of the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning programme.
