Dear PhD candidates,
The Office of Postgraduate Studies will hold a Three-minute Thesis Competition on 10th March 2014 at Convention Hall Block 12. Those who have submitted their notification of thesis submission, waiting for viva-voce as well as doing thesis correction are requested to participate in the competition. In total, 36 candidates are eligible to participate–view the list of names. To participate in the competition, you are required to register in GSMS 3 Minute Thesis Competition http://webapps.sps.utm.my/3mtf/login.aspx.
The competition will be judged by three juries. Winners will be rewarded: RM300 for first place, RM200 for the second place and RM100 for the third place.
Requirements:
1. Prepare a slide and an abstract of your presentation, and submit them to President PGSS at farid.tuah@gmail.com latest by 6th March 2014. You can use your abstract that you had submitted in your notification of thesis submission.
2. You are given only three minutes to presentation your thesis. Beyond this time, you are considered disqualified.
3. Dress up with presentable attire for the presentation.
