Behind every success there is effort, passion, creativity and dedication present, and under the keen eye of Dr. Sapura Mohammad as the staff in charge, and with the unerring support of the Faculty of Built Environment Department as well as the University in general, the Landscape Department has again brought glory to UTM among other previous achievements, by winning the Gold and Silver awards under the Decorative Wall category in the recent FLORIA 2014 International Flower and Garden show hosted by Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) at Precinct 4, Putrajaya. 14 landscape architecture students have translated the concepts of “Blush of Early Morn” for the Gold award entry and “Vertical Spectrum” for the Silver award work into an abstract manifestation of art, form and space which caught the judges’ eyes. Heartiest congratulations for the well-deserved victory.
